Each year, passionate volunteers set up traditional Provençal nativity scenes populated by santons, the small hand-painted terracotta nativity scene figurines produced in south-eastern France. From forgotten trades and traditional costumes to colourful characters, every detail is meticulously studied and recreated to bring these dioramas to life. Children will also be thrilled to meet Father Christmas at the Place Gramont.
