Setting out its stalls every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the Place des Lices, the Marché de Saint-Tropez invites you to discover the many fine flavours of the Mediterranean. Petanque players temporarily yield their prime location to this famous market that embodies the essence and soul of the town of Saint-Tropez. It’s the perfect way to fill your shopping basket!
A true Provencal market
Situated at the heart of the famous French Riviera town, the Place des Lices springs to busy life twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Traders come to offer quality produce including fruit, vegetables, meat, charcuterie and, of course, fish and other seafood. You will also find that the Marché de Saint-Tropez sells clothing, handicrafts and much more. Over 120 stallholders await you with their goods in the shade of hundred-year-old plane trees. Part of the market is also dedicated to antiques and bric-a-brac, making for fun browsing sessions. Stroll among the stalls and find items you’ll not come across anywhere else.
An incredible place to experience and enjoy discovery and conviviality
The Marché de Saint-Tropez has always maintained its friendly feel and traditions. It remains a place teeming with colour and vibrancy whatever the season, but especially during the peak of summer. When you’ve fulfilled your shopping needs and treated yourself to something special, you’ll be ready to enjoy a coffee break or a gourmet moment at one of the many bars and restaurants in the vicinity.
You will find in this charming market in the Place des Lices all the flavours of Provence and the Mediterranean. Close your eyes, lean over the stalls and savour the delicate fragrances of lavender or honey rising from the handmade soap, wafted towards you on a gentle sea breeze...
