Thrill to the rumble of Harley Davidsons!

Categories : Saint-Tropez, published on : 5/9/18

Every year the peaceful French Riviera resorts of Saint-Tropez and Grimaud start the summer season with the rumble of the vibrations from mighty Harley Davidson engines. For four days, from June 7th to 10th, 2018, more than 2,000 motorcycles and 10,000 enthusiasts of the famous American brand will descend on the most iconic locations of the two seaside towns. Don’t miss the Harley Davidson Eurofestival during your stay at the Bastide de Saint Tropez !

Living high on the HOG!

Downplaying the glamorous and polished image it usually displays, during this long and glorious weekend Saint-Tropez dons leathers in the emblematic black and orange colours of Harley Davidson and lives high on the HOG in the great biker tradition, from barbecues to rock concerts and from parades of snarling machines to nights of celebration. Whether you’re a passionate biker or simply curious, you’ll quickly find yourself immersed in this whirlwind of gorgeous, legendary and growling machines. Every day, the Harley village opens its doors, so you can meet professionals and fellow enthusiasts, admire the best customisations and exchange tips and ideas. Throughout the day and into the heart of the night, entertainment is waiting for you.

Exceptional concerts

This year, the Harley Davidson Eurofestival is delighted to welcome music legends Simple Minds. The Scottish rock band will perform on the Prairies de la Mer site during the evening of June 9th. The concert will feature their timeless hits such as Don’t You (Forget About Me), Belfast Child and Alive and Kicking as well as excerpts from their new album released last February, Walk Between Worlds. Prior to this much-anticipated concert, however, many performers will set the festival nights on fire, including Will Barber and Laura Cox on June 7th and Steve 'n' Seagulls and Little Bob on the 8th. All highlights of days when live entertainment will live in the Harley village on the sites of Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud. Book your tickets online now.

Legendary places revisited

The incomparable charm of this festival of powerful engines also comes from the contrast between these roaring beasts, their world of oil and bitumen, and the quiet poetry of their surroundings. The beauty of the beaches of Saint-Tropez and the small traditional Provencal port of Grimaud are a wonderful showcase for the official village and the dedicated exhibitions. The parade awakens the Old Port and draws it out of its springtime tranquillity. Finally, the organised rides into the hinterland allow the participants to discover the beautiful landscapes of the Var department of Provence. The contrast between bucolic tradition and roaring machines offers unique moments and surprising but charming images.

Experience the Eurofestival at your own pace

After the intensity of socialising with the most passionate bikers, you will probably want to find calm and serenity in the heart of an oasis of refinement and delicacy. So, you’ll appreciate more than ever the haven that is the hotel Bastide de Saint-Tropez, just a ten-minute walk from the town centre. Set on the heights of the small seaside resort, its terrace, large swimming pool surrounded by Mediterranean flowers, and gourmet restaurant are an invitation to relax. Don’t hesitate to book a treatment or a massage at the hotel spa, especially after a wild night of celebration!

Every year, the Harley Davidson Eurofestival marks the beginning of the season on the French Riviera. Arriving from all corners of Europe, enthusiasts find themselves in the midst of a good-natured atmosphere in which to admire their machines, mix with other fans of this great American brand and party.
